Lux
The Lux pickup is a high end, custom wound version of Px bridge pickup that pairs perfectly with the nLux neck pickup. This pickup utilizes the same creative design that creates the Px’s clear, yet warm tone, while creating a new dynamic range allowing for hard hitting, punchy, distorted chords, while still having the ability to break up slowly to get a clear overdrive tone. It utilizes a single row of adjustable screw bobbins, and was created specifically for a wide range of dynamic tones when used alongside overdrive or distortion. The 6-string version of the Lux clocks in around 16 kOhm for the Bridge pickup and is creatively wound to give a knockout tone (7-String: 19 kOhm, 8-String: 22 kOhm). This pickup is paired with an Alnico V bar magnet, nickel bottom plate, and a 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options (series, parallel and split coil, etc.). This pickup comes wax potted for a squeal-free performance.
