  • The Black Cat P.A.F. set of Humbucker pickups is our most dynamic set of low output pickups that we offer. This pickup utilizes a 50’s design that creates a clear, yet warm tone, that breaks up with the intensity that it is strummed. It utilizes a single row of adjustable screw bobbins, and was created specifically for its clear, yet dynamic tones for both positions.

Rx

  • The Rx pickup is a neck pickup suggested to be paired with the Px Bridge pickup as a brighter version of The Mighty Rigel. This pickup utilizes a creative design that creates a clear, yet warm tone. It utilizes a single row of adjustable screw bobbins, and was created specifically for its clear, yet warm tones for the neck position.

nLux

  • The nLux pickup is a high end, custom wound neck pickup specifically designed to be paired with the Lux bridge pickup. This pickup creates a clear, yet warm tone, while creating a new dynamic range allowing for a true range of clear tones with a buttery midrange.

The Mighty Rigel

  • The Mighty Rigel pickup is truly a unique pickup. This pickup utilizes a complicated design to help bring out a truly unique tone. This pickup utilizes a single row of adjustable screw bobbins, and was created specifically for its buttery, ultra warm tones for the neck position.

ol’59

  • The Ol’ 59 pickup is a modern remake of the P.A.F. style humbucker. This pickup was created for those looking for a classic style humbucker.

Nighthawk

  • The Nighthawk pickup is a truly awesome bridge pickup. As a low output humbucker, you wouldn’t expect the type of scream you get from this pickup. It is creatively scatterwound, which gives a tremendous distortion and rock sound while still remaining crisp and tight with higher gains.

Px

  • Bridge

  • Alnico V bar magnet, nickel bottom plate, and a 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options (series, parallel and split coil, etc.). This pickup comes wax potted for a squeal-free performance.

  • The Px pickup is our most popular bridge pickup. It is wound tightly to give a tremendous distortion and rock sound while still remaining crisp and tight. Suggested use would be to use the Px in the Bridge position paired with the Rx in the Neck position.

LUX

  • Bridge

  • Alnico V bar magnet, nickel bottom plate, and a 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options (series, parallel and split coil, etc.). This pickup comes wax potted for a squeal-free performance.

  • The Lux pickup is a high end, custom wound pickup that pairs perfectly with the nLux neck pickup. This pickup utilizes the same creative design that creates the Px’s clear, yet warm tone, while creating a new dynamic range allowing for hard hitting, punchy, distorted chords, while still having the ability to break up slowly to get a clear overdrive tone. It utilizes a single row of adjustable screw bobbins, and was created specifically for a wide range of dynamic tones when used alongside overdrive or distortion.

Mammoth

  • Alnico 9 bar magnet, Scatter-wound copper wire, and a 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options (series, parallel and split coil, etc.). This pickup comes wax potted for a squeal-free performance.

  • The Mammoth pickup was designed to be our high end, chugger pickup for hard rock and metalheads, but the final construction yielded a pickup that was much more complex than expected. This passive pickup is a great swap out for active pickup users, as it utilizes a 32k Ohm output (6-string model), the elusive Alnico 9 Magnet, and is scatter-wound giving a tone that changes due to what you throw at it. When played through high gain, the pickup is heavy, but gives that wanted clarity on the bottom end that is usually missing from Ceramic or Alnico 8 magnet pickups. It performs especially well with rhythmical picking or strumming, and absolutely loves pinched harmonics. When on a cleaner channel, or even low gain, this pickup has an amazing dark and deep feel that we weren’t expecting, making it a very usable bridge clean tone.
