The Rhino is a 16k single coil bridge pickup that works alone—no second coil, no battery, no reinforcements. Through clever magnets, wire material, and winding technique borrowed from our Mammoth humbucker, it delivers active-level output and tightness from pure passive design. You get humbucker-level power with the open, aggressive character that only a single coil can provide. Tight bass response under high gain, exceptional headroom, spanky brightness when you need it, and enough output to compete with active-loaded guitars in the mix. Perfect for SSH tone in an SSS configuration, or for metal players who prefer the heady, open rhythm sound of single coils over the compressed thickness of humbuckers or the sterile feel of actives. Alnico 5 staggered pole magnets, wax-potted for squeal-free high-gain performance. Just note: at extreme gain levels, you'll get some single-coil hum without a gate—because this is a true passive single coil doing active-level work, not a noiseless compromise. Just remember: Metal doesn’t care about coil count.
